The company currently have four business lines namely Modules division, Core automotive parts division, Advanced automotive business and Auto parts business. Mobis was founded in 1977 as Hyundai Precision Industry producing and supplying chassis modules for Hyundai Motors and took the after-sales service parts businesses from both Hyundai and Kia motors in late 1999. The company changed its name in 2000 to Hyundai Mobis Corporation.
